Hi! I am Lyndell, a Trading Representative since 2009 at Lim & Tan Securities. Besides being a Trading Rep, I run and maintain this blog. I am an ordinary Singaporean, living in this little but beautiful and prosperous Lion City. Day by day, I enjoy the peace and safety that my nation provides, but at the same time, grapple with the rising costs and peer expectations that my society demands.
Just like many, I strive to find ways to earn more passive income. I have made investment mistakes, have been engulfed by fear & greed, and "pay stock-market school fees". My encounters, which you may also relate to, could have easily put me in a stage of self-doubt, fear and weakness. But, each time, I learn a new financial philosophy. At the end of the day, it usually boils down to keeping things simple. I realise I hardly need to be smarter than the rest, but need to constantly cultivate the hardest parts: simplicity, discipline and patience.
